Hands down my favorite bakery!! Bourbon bakery has an unbelievable amount of variety. I have tried a lot of different things that the bourbon bakery has to offer and never once have I been disappointed. Just recently I ordered Christmas cookies to give to friends and had one myself and they were so cute and delicious. Love this place!
The Bourbon Bakery was a client of mine in a business matter. I wanted to try a couple of the goods though, because I have friends in Kentucky. My gosh… soooo delicious, and so impeccably prepared. The best buckeyes and bourbon balls you will ever have…. And everything else I tried (blondies, butterscotch cookies, and some other cookies)- also amazing. She may have been my client but now she has a bakery client who will be back!
We order a humming bird cake and brownies for a work even. Both were so good but the brownies were amazing!!! Everyone kept saying they were the best brownies they had ever had! I will definitely be ordering more in the future.
Best bakery items in Lexington! The chocolate birthday cake I ordered was THE best we've ever had. Salted bourbon fudge and cranberry orange muffins are divine! Everything I've had from this bakery is above and beyond from presentation to the very last bite!
Ordered a non-bourbon cheesecake for my daughter's birthday. Special order was no problem, and they were very careful about tree nuts, since my other daughter is allergic. The cheesecake is so good, we took the rest on vacation with us! The Bourbon Balls are also excellent, my wife and I fought over the last one.
I had to get a wedding cake last minute for my daughter's May 11th wedding and Heather was a true angel. She came through and delivered the most beautiful wedding cake I could ever imagine. And it was so delicious, I highly recommend The Bourbon Bakery. Thank you again 💗
My wife and I moved to Lexington about nine months ago and have ordered from Bourbon Bakery probably 4-5 times. This is the best custom made to order bakery in town! Heather is so nice. She has accomodated deliver options as well as special pick up requests for us. Everything we have had is outstanding! You can't go wrong with the Bourbon Balls, Butterscotch Cookies, Ganache Brownies, Red Velvet Cake, Orange Cake, or Creme Brule Cheesecake (see I told you we have had a lot). Any time we have friends or family come visit we order from Bourbon Bakery. Highly recommend this gem!!!
I have ordered cheesecake, rum side down pineapple cake, bourbon balls and sampler platters for gifts and entertaining at home. All have surpassed my expectations of taste along with exquisite presentation. Most recently I ordered a Black Forest cake for Valentine’s Day. It was absolutely the most decadent and beautifully presented indulgence I’ve seen. I wish I could share a photo. If you want quality, sensational taste and support local small business I definitely recommend The Bourbon Bakery.
Heather is truly a joy to work with. My wedding was on 12/3/23... The cake was absolutely delicious and very reasonable priced. It was a 3 tier cake(Vanilla Strawberry Chocolate) She done a lovely job on it. Each layer was extremely moist. None of the layers was too sweet. They had just the right amount of sweetness to them. I will definitely use her in the future
I had the pleasure of ordering a custom cake for my birthday from The Bourbon Bakery and could not have loved it more! I wanted a black on black iced vanilla heart cake with vintage styling. They gave me everything I was hoping for visually (elegant, goth) AND all of the taste of a great cake was there too. It was DELICIOUS. The cake got lots of compliments; it was a huge hit with me and my guests. Pricing is fair and communication is a breeze. I look forward to ordering from here for any future cake needs!
